Reaper Man is a novel by Terry Pratchett published in 1991 as part of the Diskworld series. The story focuses on the character Death, who is sent by the AUditors of Reality to live as "Bill Door" amongst humans, working for Miss Flitworth as a farmhand. As other species create new Death figures, the humans dawdle and dead humans pile up, causing undead uprisings, outsmarting the New Death when he arrives. The book deals with themes of death, immortality and dreams.
