King Solomon's Mines is an adventure story that follows English hunter and explorer Alan Quatermain and a band of intrepid Englishmen as they journey into unexplored African territory. The explorers come upon a forgotten African kingdom ruled by a tyrant and a witch. They become embroiled in a succession crisis, all while hunting for the legendary mines of King Solomon. Eventually they install the rightful king and leave with fabulous riches and the thanks of the kingdom.
