The Character Analysis of Janie Crawford from the Novel Their Eyes Were Watching God

In the novel Their Eyes Were Watching God. There was the main character named Janie Crawford in the in the story. She was an individual that had a lot of dreams; she was also easy influences, an independent person as well. She had her mind set about how her life should be.

Janie Crawford is determined in so many different ways in the novel Their Eyes Were Watching God. She was determine that she would find true love and a happy life. Janie was also determine she was going to leave her husband Logan and she did just what she said. Janie Crawford was a very determine not to listen t what others said about her. For example, people in the town were talking about how she looked and dressed.

What she doin coming back here in dem overhalls? Cant she find no dress to put on? Where dat blue satin dress she left here in? Where all dat money her husband took and died and left her? What dat ole fourty year ole oman doin wid her hair swigin down her down her back lack some young gal? Where she left dat young lad of a boy

Janie is easily influence threw out the story. She just knew Joe was going to give her the finer things in life. But he didnt he treated her like her first husband Logan. Joe treated her like she was a powerless individual and she no choice but to go by his rules.

Janie stood where he left her for unmeasured time and thought. She stood there until something fell off the shelf inside her. Then she went inside there to see what it was. It was her image of Jody tumbled down and shattered. But looking at it she saw that it never was the flesh and blood figure of her dreams. Just something she had grabbed up to drape her dreams over. In a way she turned her back upon the image where it lay and looked further. She had no more blossmy openings dusting pollen over her man, neither anglistening young fruit where the petal used to be. Janie was a person that loved her independents. Janie Crawford relationship with her husband Logan was so ensnaring from her husbands property and Janie longs for freedom, away from her husbands property and towards an unending horizon. She as felt independent in her thoughts about Joe and her being together. Janie was very independent because took care of the store Joe her when he died.

However, Janie Crawford is a person that had a lot of different dreams and hopes. She was an individual that was easily influence by others. But last but not least she was an independent person that took care of her business.
