Accidental Death of an Anarchist is a 1970 play by Dario Fo loosely based on a bombing suspect who was thrown out of a the fourth floor window of a Milan police station. The play follows The Maniac, who is being interrogated by an unintelligent Inspector Bertozzo. The Maniac tricks him and eventually impersonates a judge, convincing police and a journalist to re-enact the events on the fourth floor. The play ends with two alternative endings: the policemen being bombed and the journalist, Feletti, being handcuffed and left to die.
