The story of Romeo and Juliet has to do with many choices and consequences. If certain characters had acted differently, the story of Romeo and Juliet would not have been a tradegy. This is shown throughout the story, though Romeo and Juliet believed it was fate and It was meant to happen. Everybody was partly to blame, but some more than others.

The first person that comes to mind happens to be Romeo and the death of Tybalt. Romeo would have never been banished if he hadnt attacked Tybalt after the death of Mercutio. And if Romeo had never been banished he would have easily known about Friar Laurence and Juliets plan to fake her death. If Romeo had thought about what he was doing instead of automatically going for Tybalt Romeo and Juliet would not have died in tradegy.

The next person the comes to mind happens to be Benvolio. If Benvolio had not rushed to tell Romeo of Juliets death, Friar Laurences letter would have been received by Romeo and he would not have killed Paris or himself. It is not nessacerally Benvolios fault but if he had acted differently Romeo and Juliet would not have died in such tradegy and the plan would have worked perfectly.

The final person that could of have acted differently in order to prevent the deaths of Romeo and Juliet would have to be both the Capulets and the Montagues. If they had just let Romeo and Juliet live their lives and not hold such a grudge between each other, this whole thing would have never happened. Romeo and Juliet would be happily married and have no problems at all. If only they had tried to get along with each other.

Unfortunately none of this did happen and Romeo and Juliet did die in tradegy. There are many other characters who could of acted differently but these ones had the biggest impact on the story. I think this shows how people react without thinking of the consequences. Finally I would like to ask you what characters you think could of acted differently in order to change the deaths of Romeo and Juliet?
