The story of Romeo & Juliet is a play, set in Verona. About two star-crossed lovers who betray their families and break the feud which had been going over 1000s of years, While trying to be together they both die a tragic death. This was one of William Shakespeares most popular plays.

The deaths of Romeo and Juliet are Friar Laurences fault because of his impulsive behaviour and choices he made. His wrong actions were marring the two, which began the events in the play. Then Friars next mistake was giving Juliet a poison too put her to sleep his words were Take thou this vial, being then in bed, And this distilled liquor drink thou off; When presently through all thy veins shall run. Cold and drowsy humours, for no pulse .Shall keep his native progress, but surcease. By doing this Romeo thought that his love was dead as the letter had never gotten too him. Lastly, if Friar Laurence personally sent the letter telling Romeo of their plan as he promised, it would have never happened. Friar Laurence thinking that he had done well marring the two young lovers as he thought that it would end the feud of the Montagues and the Capulates but matter of fact lead to their death.

Another person who could have been the cause would be Romeo himself. He is the most responsible. He acted too quickly throughout the play, an example he had been in love with Rosaline a few nights before Juliet which shows Romeo as very emotional, and allows his heart to rule his head, very immature and in the beginning of the play shows he doesnt know love. He shouldn't have asked Juliet to marry him so quickly, and he should have thought more about the consequences of what was going to happen before rushing back to Verona after hearing of Juliet's death. He also acted violently and without thinking of the consequences once again when he killed Tybalt which also lead to most of the problems and if he hadnt killed Tybalt he would of never been banished, which means he would of known about Juliets fake death.

Due to their age, Romeo & Juliet were naive and very immature in the ways of their actions. As such they placed their faith in one man; to help them solves their problems. However, Friar Lawrence used his position of power unwisely and without question betrayed both families, and as well the trusted placed in him by the young lovers.
