Who is responsible for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet?

The decision to kiss for the first time is the most crucial on any love story. It changes the relationship of two people much more strongly than even the final surrender; because this kiss already has within it that surrender. Words from Emil Ludwig fall nicely into William Shakespeare the Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. Do to Romeos fault of being able to fall in love easily and quickly, and his out of control temper, and last but not least his problem of being over dramatic. The faults of Romeo are the true reasons why he is the one to blame for the deaths of him and Juliet.

Towards the beginning of the play Romeo is in love with a girl named Rosaline. Until a servant unintentionally invited Romeo and Benvolio to a Capulet party in act I scene II. Romeo did not have to go to the party but Benvolio convinced him that they should go because Romeo could find another girl. But Romeo wanted to go because Rosaline was going to be there. When Romeo arrives at the party he then meets Juliet and falls In love with her instantly and says O, then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do; They pray, grant thou, lest faith turn to despair. (1.4) Romeo asks for a kiss and they basically fall in love, without knowing Juliet is a Capulet and Romeo is a Montague. Later that night Romeo goes back to Juliets room and they end up planning on getting married even though they are aware there families hate each other. Romeo could have caused the death because he knew him and Juliet should have never been together in the first place and goes ahead and marries her.

Right after getting married to a Capulet Romeo kills a Capulet. Tybalt challenges Romeo to a fight and then Romeos best friend Mercutio (neither a Capulet nor a Montague) ends up fight Tybalt for Romeo and Tybalt kills him. Romeo becomes very angry and then kills Tybalt and runs away. The prince then comes and exiles Romeo from Verona, meanwhile Romeo is hiding in Friar Lawrences cell. Friar comes up with a plan for Romeo stating that he just move to the next town over which was Mantua. While Romeo was a Mantua he promised to help the marriage of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo put his life in danger and Juliet life in danger because he has slain Tybalt; also he threaded Juliet and his life because of his banishment, so it made it harder for their marriage to work. That proves Romeos out of control temper.

After Romeo killed Tybalt and ran to Mantua many things happened in the short period of time. Juliet was being forced to marry Paris, and her and the friar made a plan that she would drink a potion that will make her appear dead for two days. Friar Lawrence sends friar john with a letter explaining everything to Romeo. Meanwhile Juliet is having her funeral and Balthasar sees Juliet and races to Mantua to tell Romeo before the letter gets to Mantua. So basically Romeo thinks Juliet has died so he buys the deadliest poison to kill himself. After buying the poison he then travels back to Verona to Juliet tomb, and he runs into Paris, they fight, Romeo kills him. Then Romeo goes to what he thinks is Juliets dead body and he kisses her and drinks the potion. Juliet then wakes and stabs herself.

If Romeo isnt the one to blame for his death and Juliets death then no one else should. Romeo was a romantic-uncontrollable tempered-drama queen. He basically killed Juliet because of tortured her which lead her to commit suicide and he killed himself because he was impatient. If he would have gone to the friar before going to the tombs maybe he wouldnt of died. Romeo was the reason most definitely the reason they died.
